Eligibility Criteria for CCIE Certification

What is CCIE?

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert or CCIE is a technical certification offered by Cisco Systems. The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) and Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) certifications are designed to help the industry identify the best Internet experts in the world and evaluate infrastructure design skills across the world. These certificates are accepted worldwide as the industry's most valuable network certificates. CCIE and the CCDE community have a leading reputation in the network industry for in-depth technical knowledge of the network and are performing in the most demanding networking tasks. The Advanced Certification Program continually updates and monitors test tools and methodologies to ensure and maintain program quality, relevance, and value. Thanks to a rigorous written exam and a performance-based lab test, these advanced certification programs have set the standard for advanced knowledge of online operations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants wishing to apply for an online job specialist certificate must complete training in computer networking. This includes basic training for staff, networks or network management.

Applicants for these studies must receive secondary or equivalent training and minimal professional experience. Most CCIE applicants start out as computer support experts. However, some degrees are related to the Cisco Networking Academy.

Applicants who want to gain skills do not have specific rights. Before candidates pass the CCIE exam, Cisco recommends that they have at least three to five years of network experience.
